There is a site called Project Rooftop devoted to super hero fashion. The challenge is to redesign a character but still making him recognizable and not revamping his orgin. So I did The Human Fly in tribute to my father-in-law's childhood favorite.
Good work, except what happened to the white line going over his head from his ears? Am I being too picky? It seems you made verious changes overall to make it suit a more realistic context. I like the cape.
Sketchkrieg! is a band of comic artists and illustrators based in Toronto. Well, it is a redesign. I think Jon really captured the spirit of the character in a modern context.
BTW, very clean and tight drawing.
I really dig this ... his pose is pretty badass ... cool colours too ...
I really like the new costume design. Slick stuff. His legs go on forever, though!
I took a risk with the legs...but I guess you got to go with the 6 head measuring system (7 heads is the marvel way).
