The princess and the peacock

Here's a new promotional piece. I had a bunch of peacock reference from a trip to the zoo that I had been itching to use.

DETAILS!

My Word!

How long did this one take you. 20, 30 minutes?

More like 15 minutes, give or take ;)

I've been working away at it for about 2 weeks, on and off. Had an assignment so I put it aside for a bit. I found the hardest part was working out the composition. Originally I wanted it to be a tall narrow piece, but then changed my mind.

Holy WOW!
Great effects on the veil! It looks very convincing. The designs all around look very phenomenal!
It's an Alana Masterpiece!

I agree, the detail and textures are great. Especially on the clothing and pillows.

Her legs look a little wonky, but that's just nitpicking.

Thanks for pointing that out Evan. I went back and fixed the legs. I don't think her heel would have been showing, so it looks like there's a growth on her ankle. I photoshopped it out in the changed version.
