Sketchkrieg! is a band of comic artists and illustrators based in Toronto. This collective consists of Evan Munday (Stripmalling, Quarter-Life Crisis), Brian Hoang (Medicine), Zen Rankin (Action Satisfaction Supreme), Alana McCarthy (Owl Kids, Scholastic), Tyrone McCarthy (Corporate Life, Corduroy High, Tyne), Jason Loo (Canadian GI Joe Con, AWOL'd) and Gillian Newland (Big and Small, Room for All; A Chanukah Noel).

I went through a crazy horse phase in high school where I drew horses just like that over and over again!
I relate to this one in and extra special way.
Is this based on a real life event or is it just a work of fiction. (I am predicting fiction)
I love this piece - so dynamic - so much movement. Great character with the girl.. and the horse looks super crazed.

Zen - yeah the illo is based on a real event ... this horse was really hard to tame ... it busted out of its stall ... now that's CRAZY (horse)!
The characterization of the horse is astounding. Great work. I really like the shading on the girl, too. A nice, clean illustration.
