Lately I've had a lot of assignments with choppy water or stormy skies. I've really enjoyed them so I decided to repeat these themes in my Facebook group giveaway painting. Poor little mouse.

Sketchkrieg! is a band of comic artists and illustrators based in Toronto. This collective consists of Evan Munday (Stripmalling, Quarter-Life Crisis), Brian Hoang (Medicine), Zen Rankin (Action Satisfaction Supreme), Alana McCarthy (Owl Kids, Scholastic), Tyrone McCarthy (Corporate Life, Corduroy High, Tyne), Jason Loo (Canadian GI Joe Con, AWOL'd) and Gillian Newland (Big and Small, Room for All; A Chanukah Noel).

Nice darks in the water. It really gives the painting a sense of depth. Same goes with the clouds.
That mouse is doing just fine!
The waves are great -- the colour, the foam. Is that a cocktail umbrella? It should have a maraschino cherry on it.
