Long time, no blog. Here are the first half of the pages I've done for Jon Paul Fiorentino's upcoming novel, Stripmalling. I'll post the others soon. Some solid beatings and face-sewing in this set.
Some solid stuff. Great attention to detail on the backgrounds, both in the store and in the home. And some good acting on the characters. That's something I definitely need to work on.
Sometimes the perspective on backgrounds and characters seems a little wonky, but that can totally be attributed to style!
Sketchkrieg! is a band of comic artists and illustrators based in Toronto. This collective consists of Evan Munday (Stripmalling,Quarter-Life Crisis), Brian Hoang (Medicine), Zen Rankin (Action Satisfaction Supreme), Alana McCarthy (Owl Kids, Scholastic), Tyrone McCarthy (Corporate Life,Corduroy High, Tyne), Jason Loo (Canadian GI Joe Con, AWOL'd) and Gillian Newland (Big and Small, Room for All; A Chanukah Noel).

This is your best work yet, I dare say. You have even tackled the Cartoonist's Nightmare of drawing a convenience store interior! Well done.
