Cover to AWOL'd volume 2

I've finally inked all the pages to AWOL'd volume 2! Now I have to worry about the boring but necessary stage: Post-production...greyscaling, word balloons, book layout designs...
If you observe the subtleness of the characters' eye direction carefully, you may get an idea of what each character will be up to in the second volume. It's like looking at a Soprano promo poster before a new season airs.

the line work is pro dude. really nice varieties in line weight. i gotta ask though, is this a work in progress? cause i think the grey marker needs a lot of clean-up. if this IS a work in progress, then proceed. it's looking' great. but if this is the final cover, i think it needs some improvements in the grey tones. the toning on your first cover had a really nice sketchy feel to it but the greys in this look like a rushed job to me. i hope i don't sound mean. i just think the solid drawing deserves a solid toning. really looking forward to gettin' a copy.

Damn you, get out of my blog! This is meant as a final!!!

Actually, I thought the same thing a bit after I laid out the cover and posted it on the blog to see if I can get away with it...looks like I didn't. So thanks for your honest opinion, B.

I am just gonna say it. It looks incomplete.
I find the background conflicts with the marker rendering image. I suggest adding marker to the background or making the characters rendered graphically.

But what do I know, I haven't drawn a cover in years...
