AWOL'd : Chapter One REDUX
It's been a long while since my last blog. I've been pretty busy working on AWOL'd and recently completed Chapters 01-02 for the graphic novel.

This is fantastic work. So moody (and gory -- ick). The facial expressions on the second page are amazing, Loo.

Love the feel you get with the blacks and whites ... and grays ...
If you ever colour these pages I can see you using muted colours ... just to keep it similar to the B&W version ...
It's awesome, totally looks like a movie. That was some good advice that you got.

good pacing. I like the use of spot black shadows to illustrate the blast from the explosion.
have you test printed any of these pages? I'm interested to see if the use of tone isn't overwhelming. As there is almost not open white spaces...
