I was working from a straight on flash lit reference at first, and it was totally throwing me off. The dog looked so 2D compared to the lighting on the bears. So I had the client take a flashless photo lit from a window on the side. The amount of detail on the dog ...I agree with Loo. The amount of detail on the dog is just right. It seems to accent against the stuffed toys enought so that you can destinguish what is real and what is not. Same things with the trees.
